Verifoxx
Verifoxx is reinventing data sharing by enabling organisations to share verified attributes about their data, instead of sharing the data itself, using privacy enhancing technologies. For this Challenge, Verifoxx developed a framework for Scottish Justice, allowing multiple agencies to connect siloed data sets, without any data leaving its owner. Data owners retained full control of their data through a policy engine and a decentralised Source of Truth gave different stakeholders insights and visibility over the lifecycle of a criminal case.

The Opportunity
Data sharing in the UK has the potential to unlock £20BN of economic benefits (TechUK 2022). The Verifoxx solution can help unlock the sharing of sensitive information without compromising data privacy, leading to better public services, new products and innovation and more informed policy decisions.
Next Steps
The next milestones for our product include deploying our technology onto test infrastructure, conducting user research and testing and holding engagement and training sessions, to support adoption.
The Team
Our founding team Roisin and Bala combine 20 years of go to market experience and deeptech knowledge, and are ex L'Oreal and JP Morgan. Together, they have built the team to 5 people, onboarded investors and secured over £1.5M in funding to date.
